Jackie took this picture and sent it to his Grandpa for his birthday today.
Jack's been up to a lot recently. He's starting to try and pull himself up using things like his chair, or Truman the dog. If you put your hands out in front of him, he'll grab on and pull himself up. He's not crawling yet, but he may bypass it altogether and move straight to rollerblading.
He has lots of teeth coming in right now, and he's practicing his chewing. When he takes a bite of food, he chomps his mouth open and closed and makes a Frankenstein kind of noise. I think he's watched his Mom and Dad eat frequently, and is trying to copy (although I don't know where he got the Frankenstein noise from).
His sleeping is getting better. He no longer needs to be swaddled up, although he is using a pacifier to help. He generally wakes up once at night, and if we go in and put his pacifier back in his mouth, he's OK.
He still loves banging on the piano, although he hasn't written any new songs lately. Still just a little happy Jackie. His skin pigment seems to be changing a little bit -- getting darker like Daddy's. Someone said his eyes looked a little Asian, so maybe he'll look more like Daddy yet.
He's getting big into kisses, although they're open mouth, licking kisses. He just has his own signs of affection, evidently.
